NDW
Nord Star Wines was created in 2020 and is located in Northern Virginia. Originally, NDW was called Loire Valley Distribution and was created specifically to import and promote wines for the Loire valley area (and not to pass as a brand of expensive handbags).
Since then, it has grown and diversified to be able to bring the best wines the world has to offer.
Our Team
Shayly is a passionate wine enthusiast with a strong preference for white wines from Vouvray. She fell in love with France and the Loire valley upon her first visit of the country and was at the heart of the creation of Loire Valley Distribution.
Cyril was born in Chinon, France, and grew up in the Loire valley before moving to the US. Some say creating Loire Valley Distribution was a means for him to never run out of his favorite bottles.
Kristel was born and raised in Virginia wine country where she found a passion for the history and heritage that has gone into winemaking for hundreds of years. Nord Star Wine has given her a place to expand on that passion and knowledge whilst providing her with a community of like minded individuals.
Just like every grape tells a story, Sammy's journey from the vineyards of Cape Town, South Africa, to the wine regions of the US, Nord Star is the perfect fit for his continuously illuminated path to unforgettable encounters and shared moments over a glass of wine
